Todd Named Top School

Orville A. Todd Middle School is a “Top School” for the state of New York in the 2009 Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth (CTY) Talent Search! The center bases the award upon student enrollment in its annual Talent Search, which identifies, assesses, and recognizes students with exceptional mathematical and/or verbal reasoning abilities. Participation among students at high levels reflects upon the school's academic quality, student abilities, and teacher talent. It also reflects upon the school leadership and how it encourages students and their parents to seek out educational challenges beyond traditional school walls. The web page that announces the Top Schools for 2009 can be found at www.cty.jhu.edu/ts/topschools/NYtop.html.
